SWATI SARKAR

After turning 50, Swati rediscovered a long-held dream: writing. She began her author journey with a heart full of stories, emotions, and lived wisdom. Within a single year, she published four books, each exploring human relationships, inner journeys, and the subtle rhythms of life with depth and sensitivity.

Her works—including Soulmate At 50, Kashi’s Calling, Missing Part of the Soul, and Soulmate at 50 – The Whisper from the Mountains—reflect her belief that stories are not written; they are lived, felt, and then translated into words.

Today, Swati continues to balance her dual passions—designing meaningful spaces and writing meaningful stories—while inspiring others to begin their second innings with courage, grace, and authenticity.

Upcoming Books

Aporanher Alo – Light of the Last Afternoon

Aporanher Alo is a soulful novel about life’s second innings, unexpected companionship, and the quiet glow that arrives in the later chapters of our lives. Set against the gentle hills of Kasauli and Solan, it explores the emotional rebirth of a woman in her sixties as she rediscovers hope, dignity, and inner strength. The story celebrates silence, healing, and the beauty of late-life love. It is a tender reminder that even in the last afternoon of life, light can still find its way in.

Her Heels Over Him

A bold, modern, and unapologetically contemporary story, Her Heels Over Him explores new-age relationships, ambition, individuality, and the shifting dynamics of love in today’s fast-paced world. It follows young women who know what they want, refuse to settle, and rise above emotional chaos with confidence. Stylish, sharp, and empowering, this book celebrates the voice of the high-value woman — fierce, independent, and beautifully flawed.

Kashi’s Calling – Hindi Edition

The Hindi edition of Kashi’s Calling brings the spiritual essence of Varanasi to a wider audience. Through heartfelt storytelling, it captures the sacred ghats, ancient temples, and the timeless conversations between life and death. This edition brings the emotional journey of Maithili into the heart of India’s most soulful language, allowing readers to connect more deeply with the spiritual calm and cultural richness of Kashi.

Kashi’s Calling – Bengali Edition (Said)

The Bengali edition celebrates the cultural roots of Bengal while carrying the same emotional depth as the original narrative. It preserves the lyrical rhythm of the ghats, the mystic aura of Varanasi, and the intimate reflections of Maithili in a language close to your heart. Warm, nostalgic, and beautifully translated, it allows Bengali readers to experience Kashi with new intimacy and spiritual resonance.

Contribution to Society

As a woman who rebuilt her life and dreams after 50, I strongly believe that age is never a barrier to growth. Through my writing and personal journey, I inspire women to reclaim their identity, honour their emotions, and make decisions that align with their dignity and self-respect.
My stories highlight the quiet strength, resilience, and courage that women carry within themselves. I aim to create a voice for every woman who has been silenced, overlooked, or told that her time has passed. By sharing real emotions and real struggles, I encourage women to rise again — stronger, wiser, and unapologetically themselves.

Spirituality has been a guiding light throughout my life, shaping both my personal philosophy and my writing. I believe that true growth happens when we align our inner world with the universe around us.
My books reflect the transformative power of surrender, gratitude, and mindful living. Whether it is the divine silence of Varanasi or the healing mountains of Ladakh, I bring spiritual wisdom into everyday life through my words.
My message is simple: healing begins within. And when women heal, the world around them begins to heal too.

Every story I write carries one intention — to remind women of their worth. A high-value woman is not defined by society, relationships, or circumstances; she is defined by her choices, her boundaries, and her self-love.
Through my characters and narratives, I empower women to:

  • Prioritise themselves without guilt
  • Walk away from what breaks their spirit
  • Stand tall with dignity
  • Honour their dreams, no matter the age
  • Choose love without losing themselves

My writing is a tribute to every woman who has ever suffered silently, loved deeply, or risen bravely. I want my readers to feel seen, heard, and uplifted — and to believe that their story has the power to change not just their life, but also the lives of others.
